Day 13: Weekend Spirit

I started off the day as usual, continuing where I left off in the course. In this case, it was building the landing page of my funnel.

This time I had to use Aweber to build the page, since when people submit their names and emails in the form, they'll be added to my mailing list which is managed inside Aweber.

I had checked out the available templates yesterday. While it would've been easy to spend an hour or two looking for the perfect one, if there's one thing I've learned from building my website, it's to just pick something and start. So that's what I did.

Aweber's editor for creating web pages was broadly similar to Hostinger's, but some of the small differences meant there was a learning curve that made it difficult to get certain things done.

The email marketing functions are all super useful and affordable (I’m only using the free tier right now), but after using Hostinger to build my website, I'm not loving this part.

When I had futilely spent more than a reasonable amount of time trying to figure out how to overlay text and image, I decided that it was the weekend (after what had seemed like 12 consecutive weekdays) and called it a day.
