Day 11: Progress Takes Time

Things aren’t going as fast as I’d like them to.
I had so much on my to-do list, and I put in several hours of work and still only accomplished a fraction of it.
I had good drafts of my daily progress blogs for days 1-6, and notes to write for days 7-10. I’d estimated 3-4 hours of work to finish writing, editing and publishing them, and had hoped to move on to finishing setting up my email list, updating my website as per the vibe shift I’d decided on yesterday and possibly even start working on building my marketing funnel.
It’s a couple of hours past my bedtime and I’ve stayed up to only just finish publishing my daily progress blog posts.
Writing these posts wasn’t part of the course. I’d decided to do it so that other people starting their affiliate marketing journeys could find someone to relate to. So that I have a place to refer people to when I promote resources that I’ve used. A candid update as each day goes by, rather than a showcase of results and no insight into the process.
Now they feel like a bit of a burden. Perhaps it’s the procrastination. If I finished the final edits of each day’s blog on the same day, it would be a half-hour-per-night sort of task, rather than a spend-an-entire-day-catching-up. I think I’m going to try it that way for a few days.
Hopefully tomorrow I can at least finish all the things I had planned for today. The deadline for deciding to purchase the Freedom Partner Program is also closing in.
And my Mac needs a restart. So do I. I’m going to bed.
